Current Study: "Adam Hamilton's book, The Lord's Prayer: The MeaningAnd Power Of The Prayer Jesus Taught"
This Sunday School Class is diverse in ages, seeks through open hearts and minds to drink from Spiritual Waters. "The Well" seeks to provide a Christian Journey for all who thirst for the living water. Topical and Biblical studies are led by class members and outside guest speakers in a discussion format. All are welcome to come experience God's will in our lives.

Unity - Meeting at 9:15 in the Unity classroom Advent Study is "The Purpose of Christmas" by Rick Warren.
This adult class uses videos and other resources for studies of a variety of Biblical topics. Lively discussions and fellowship are always a part of every Sunday. The Unity Class meets in Room 35.
Bible Study Groups
Thursday Night Bible Study.
This group meets each Thursday night at 6:30Pm in the Church. A stimulating group discussion of various Books of the Bible utilizing study guides from several different authors. All are welcome to attend and participate. The current study is on the "Fruit of the Spirit".

Bible Babes
The Bible Babes began as the Tuesday Morning Bible Study in the late 1970’s. It was originally both men and women who met with the pastor to consult regarding the coming Sunday’s sermon. As time passed and the make-up of the congregation evolved, it became primarily a women’s Bible Study group and chose the name Bible Babes based on a comment in Anita Renfroe’s book The Purse Driven Life, in which she points out that “in every church there is a group of women who know more about the Bible than most Pastors”. Our purpose is to intensely study the Bible.
Bible Babes meet every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor as well as on Zoom. Our class members come from Garland, Mesquite, Rowlett, Rockwall, Royse City, Sunnyvale, Dallas, Cleburne, Lubbock, and New Braunfels. We welcome all ages and are not opposed to men who are interested in Bible Study.
In addition to Tuesday meetings, Bible Babes are active in all phases of service to New World UMC: our members serve on the Administrative Board, Trustees, Finance committee, Family and Community Ministries. We have a special relationship with the New World Day School and support the children and teachers with back-to-school events, teacher appreciation as well as weekly contact with the parents and students to help provide a safe and comfortable environment.

LIFE (Small) Groups
These small informal groups meet together and establish relationships to share fellowship, devotions, scripture and food. Consider Joining one of these groups thru the listed contact. (Call the Church office)
PAVERS
The Pavers are a high energy, small group of 12-14 adults committed to grow spiritually, serve the church faithfully, and provide loving support to each other. We meet once a month at someone’s house for a simple dinner we all provide. We visit and catch up with each other, learn, share, pray, encourage, hug, and laugh abundantly! Pavers come in all shapes, sizes, colors and marital status. They are strong yet can wear down over time and experiences and find themselves in need of repair. We do repair work!

SNL (Sunday Night Love)
SNL (Sunday Night Love) group meets monthly on Sunday evening.
We share food, fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. We believe that our group is an integral part of "being" the church and not just "doing" church.
We care and share, challenge and support, laugh and weep, are accountable to each other, watch over each other and grow together.

The WAY Small group
The WAY meets once a month in a members home. We enjoy food, fellowship, devotions, discussion and prayer in an effort to grow closer to God and closer to one another in a fun and comfortable environment.
